Our mission is to share the world of skydiving with veterans who have never experienced the thrill of jumping out of an aircraft.
Our vision is to:
Provide tandem skydiving opportunities for a wide range of veterans who are active leaders in the veteran community as a show of our gratitude for their contribution.
This program was started in honor of Cory Remsburg, a former Army Ranger who was wounded in combat. He was airborne in the military and loved jumping from airplanes and helicopters. Due to the injuries he sustained, he was unable to pursue his skydiving license but still wanted to experience the thrill of the jump.
Veterans Adventure Group organized a tandem skydive for him out of Skydive Arizona and he wanted the program to continue serving others. As such, this program organizes tandem skydiving opportunities for veterans at various locations across the United States. We primarily work with 3 categories of veterans for this program.
We can usually work with any drop zone local to the participant.
We are connected with some of the premiere skydiving experts in this country. They are determined to find a way and will do everything possible to consider the options for making the jump happen while ensuring your safety. This may limit the options for locations where the jump can be made. When filling out a contact form, let us know of your injuries so we can best find a solution that may work for you.
Nope! The oldest person to skydive was 103 years old. We also like to help set records…
If you fall into the first two categories, reach out! For category three, we prefer nominations of another veteran you know out there leading by example. Good deeds have a way of coming back around in the long run.
